Yeah...yeah,...I agree with Linda...I don't think that was an accident...but I'll be happy to take her off your hands there, Stef...Lord knows, you can't have such a homely mare on your place...shudder...what would people think??? ;-)

well that's my story and I'm sticking to it :D
Erin, you would not believe how many emails and calls I get about PF for sale - most are from people "over horsed", some are specific contacts because of color or pedigree as seen on my site and some are just plain problem horses...
I weed through the volumes of contacts and sometimes choose something for myself and other times I can place a horse with someone on our "wanted list" (these dont happen often because they are quite specific if on a list and not found a horse)...
These last two filies/mares were chosen for ME... odd that noone commented on the fact that they are not pinto LOL.... I have spent many years selling off almost all of my non-pintos.
This mare is double Juan Juan breeding - with the Don Danilo in the background there has been talk of being desireable to TyG people - but both parents were paso fino gaited. She has never been put under saddle - we will evaluate her in bf lines (when she is trained for it) if she is a throw back to the Don Danilo then who knows, my guess is she will be PF in gait and a very good broodmare..
I really like this mare - she needs some work but most issues are environment/social delayed ;-)

OK - you guys seem to have zero sympathy for me - you seem to think that I have this, this addiction or holic thing - yet offer no help at all.
I DO NOT have a problem, I can handle this!!
What's next? Intervention!!!!

She is home now, arrived late yesterday - we will work on the feet but it will take a little while. That is one of her issues... they are not as bad as they look standing on that soil... so I have time to take it slow. her farrier was there to help me load her (had not been on a trailer since she was 2 wks old) and gave me some good info on her. She has recieved pretty regular trimming her entire life and is in beautiful shape, just not asked to do anything in life except be pretty and "loved" to death.

Looks like two trims would get her back "right"...and nope, theya aren't that bad...just long!
Soooo..did you make the call? :D  :D

Stefanie, she is drop dead gorgeous!! Man O Man!
I am hoping a six year old with no handling won't take up all of your time. You sure like to spread yourself thin, girl. Heh heh, me too! Like friggin peas in a pod. Sure! I'll take that project! Can I have another Sir?

yup that's me - but it is so rewarding with a horse that needs the work and progresses well..
She is not getting as much of my time as I would like her to have, but client horses come first and I have a few of them in for training.... when two of these leave - if I can keep anyone else from booking space I will spend more time with her and the chestnut both...

Rose has, Linda Y. She has some absolutely FABULOUS yearlings. Two pintos, one dun, one grulla and a bay.
Rose? Oh, Ro-o-o-o-o-ose? Where are you? Post that pic you took when we were out riding the other day. The pic of "the kids" lined up and looking over the fence.

Linda - you need to just come on up here and ride, just for the fun of it if nothing else :D (we can go to Natchez Trace Park)... I know of a couple of horses right now (I am pretty much sold out of riding stock myself- just a yearling for sale). I would love to have you come and try some of my horses so you can see the type of horse I produce and occasionally find elsewhere for my clients...
