OK guys - Here is your information...

Process -
Please submit the questionnaire that is in the thread to santa to enter. Names will be randomly "drawn" and distributed to you. Get your person a gift and mail it by the deadline. We will open gifts on the board.

Spending limit is $30.

Dates -
In order to enter the Secret Santa, please sumbit your questionnaire by
NOV. 1st

The information about the person you get will be sent to you no later than NOV. 4th

Please mail your gift by -
DEC. 9th
If possible, let me know when you mail it and send tracking info (if applicable) so that I can give your person a heads up about expecting a package.

We will open gifts during the week of -
DEC. 19th

Well, I guess this little oops can be forgiven if you will post a pic of your wonderful secret santa gift so we can see what you got! Or, even better. Put it back in the box, tape it and have a re-enactment when it comes time for EVERYONE to open ;-)

And I guess that those of you who have not sent yours yet need to mark the package as "secret santa"

Mel, I love it. I want to post it. But, I think I will wait until everyone else gets theirs. I put it back in the envelope and placed it in my wardrobe so it would not get damaged before I found a fram for it. I also want to matt it so the glass does not thouch it. :idea: I am thinking that I will have a friend of mine make a fram for me. I am thinking a mahogany finished fram with an off white and white matt. :razz:

eta: Please let my santa know how much I appriciate thier gift. And give me a hint on who they are. Thanks so much.

Maybe you can see where it was post-marked from, and do some detective work! I was thinking about that myself. I think I'm the only one from SD on the bb, so my person will know right away who their santa is when they get the package :roll:

I apologise but mine also is late being sent out as it's not finished yet. I will have it done over the weekend and I'll be sending it out on Monday. I'll send airmail though so my secret santa recipient will have it by the deadline :-)

I just got my gift mail today. It should take about two to three days to get to its destination. I think the getters that have had their gifts for longer than a week should open theirs and the ones that have had theirs for a week or less should not open theirs untill monday and the one that get theirs after monday can open theirs when they arrive. BTW I have had mine for only four days. I think this is fair. Does anybody else?

Or We all can open them now and not tell anyone, all the ones that have not opened theirs yet and have not said they have. Shame Shame :oops:

Well, I got mine several days ago....almost a week. Unfortunately, it was NOT marked secret santa, and it was from a company that my sister ususally sends me something from.....and I :oops: accidently opened it.....So I love it, and the sender had a greeting put on the packing invoice...so I also know who sent it....but I'm not saying a peep, to keep it fun for everyone. ;-)

:roll: Can't anyone follow simple instructions? How do you think this makes Mel feel? She worked hard to co-ordinate this, and people aren't even trying to co-operate. It's like throwing poptarts out to a Tammiherd of horses and telling them "Now, one at a time- no pushing and shoving, guys!"

Think about it, folks- you receive a box in the mail- you check the address. It isn't from anyone you know, or from anyone on ebay/hsn/qvc, whomever else from whom you're expecting something. DUH, it MUST be from...??? :shock:
