Thanks, everyone. As someone at the awards said, "That's a heck of a lot of LD rides!!!" Actually it's 9 CTRs ranging 25-35 miles long for a total of 250 miles and about 60 LD rides ranging 25-35 miles with one 55 miler thrown in for good measure  Please don't ask what it cost me to get to this point. After all, what else do I have to spend my money on?

Leo got a nice cooler, like Obi, with "SEDRA 1000 Mile Horse" on it, not a medallion. His last ride was in Dec 2005. He started at age 20. 5 years in LD and also did two of his 9 CTRs after that. I rode one ride last year with a guy on a 30 year old walking horse mare! The older ones can do more than we give them credit for. 8-) He still looks pretty good; you can see a picture of him on page 88 of the recent PFHW (I'm doing the tail section for awhile).

Now for the other PF riders and their horses. Maria Florkiewicz was 4th CTR Rookie Rider and Lucy Hood was 5th. Maria's Majeco was 4th place CTR Rookie Horse and first place registered non-Arabian Trail Horse and Lucy's Sol Angelique was reserve non-Arabian Trail Horse.

PFHA even sent SEDRA some license plates to give to all PF awardees and they also sent quite a bit of literature on the PF and the PFHA. I was surprised to see it, but it was nice to be ackowledged in a positive way for a change.

Now, Paula, you've seen plenty of pictures of Leo and Obi and more than enough of me  They weren't at the awards so sorry, no new photos.

But, like I said, you can go to PFHW for June and find Leo and me on he back page. My brother took the picture and he did a great job. Leo looks just splendid if I do say so mysef.
