Well... It was a show. Lets just say that. I got there Tuesday and rode her that night and she was a mess. She was rearing up and spinning to get to the gait. She does act up at home as well so i was sort of expecting it. She was doing excellent in gait though. Awesome pleasure. Quickest she's ever been.
Luckily there were two extremely nice people who were willing to help me with with my horse. Don(primrose ddp) and shawn(don't know how to spell it lol) were a dream come true. The difference from Tuesday night to sunday was unbelivable. She went from rearing straight up to barely rearing and actually going by the gait. Saturday night Shawn had her in a fino. Friday I put her into a class and almost at the end she began to act up and i pulled her out.... even though i shouldn't have. I put her in a class sunday and came out with a 4th and a 6th out of 13 horses. I would have never made it without the help of don and shawn. thanku so much! also thanku sandy, greg, and lori for being there during this show. All of you are some of the greatest people in the whole world.

THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Cassie! Sounds like you did well, and your horse may have learned a thing or two also! A win win situation!

I know it is dissapointment to have a horse behave badly, especially at a show when your nerves are on overload.

That is awesome that people will step in and help. Congratulations on getting your horse to improve her behavior!

It's true - what a difference a few sessions with good advice and help can make! Cassie's filly was initially a very difficult ride and the difference in both horse and rider by that last class was phenomenal - a perfect confluence of a knowledgeable trainer who can accurately diagnose a problem and clearly explain/correct/demonstrate the 'fix' in a short amount of time, a really good 'bug' rider who can carry out the trainer's instructions and get the owner's horse in a more 'receptive' mode, and a receptive exhibitor who is willing and able to do what it takes in the ring to pull off such successful results!

Congrats Cassie!
