The last time I saw Hijo, he did plodding walk, slow enough for my hobbled husband to walk with. Now he has an enormous stride, huge enough to keep up with any thoroughbred.

It was a fabulous visit, a thrill to see my old friends well and having the opportunity for a good start for a new life. Stella and team are doing a wonderful job. Stella was generous enough to give me hints to improve my riding (I heard little mutterings of "hunt-seat"). Her lesson was explicit and thorough and very easy to understand.... and now it is up to me to work on improvements.

Oh yes, a total thrill! Like I said before, like riding a mini Embellazo, and I've ridden him before too!

My next "to ride" is going to be Secreto before he gets snatched up. Man, I would LOVE to own him!

He sticked at 15 1 1/2. He is huge. Also very lovable. Stella and company are doing a great job with him....... and getting him ready for the right partner and home.

Michelle is doing fabulously with his sister (she is not huge), and greenback riding her. Very impressive. I was extremely pleased with the visit and the "team's" work.

Yes, Salina, she is just AWESOME! Here's her pedigree. She's a Favorito granddaughter and has such a great brain! She is one of those "born broke" type of horses!
