you're a bit sick of hearing it, I have to share how wonderful Tony is about the horses.
We're waiting on Cosmo. I'm anxious to hear a delivery date. In the meantime, I caught Tony out in the back digging a big trench. I asked him why and he said....well, we're going to put a shelter here for Cosmo....we can't have him standing in mud all day. (Shame on me, I was going to suggest a temporary carport shelter till we had time to build something better.)
Then he explained the French drain he had planned...and the fill he talked my brother into donating to our project...The design of the shelter he is building and will have an overhang incase Scooter is in there -- because we know he's too dumb to go IN the stall in a storm. This way he'll have shelter from the rain if he decides to be with Cosmo.
When he showed me his pictures of the small two stall shelter he's building...it even had windows in the back so the boys could see us and we could fill the water buckets from the back of the shed.
This is Tony's first attempt at a shed. Who knows what it will end up looking like...but I love it already.
