Cute video. My first pony was a gem. He would lay down and let me get on. He would let me get on his head and push me up to get on. I would ride him backwards down the road. What a pony. The people that sold him to me said he was so mean no one could do anything with him. I just rode the tar out of him. :D

When my friend and I were teeny tots, we would ride her draft cross mare for hours. If she would get near the arena fence we would take a flying leap to mount (tricky when you are riding double). Or we would put a handfull of hay on the ground. When she out her head down I would sit behind her ears, when the hay was gone, she would lift her head and I would slide to her back. I would then scootch back, and she would get another handfull of hay, then her owner would repeat the process.

We were also very Monkey like, and could climb her legs (with our bare feet) and scramble up on her.

Of course that was back when there were NO helmets, and horse were just well behaved. Of course we had to be barefoot, so we could ride/swim in the canels

She was! A big ole flea bitten gray mare. Suds was her name. Not pretty, but when two 6 year olds can ride one double for hours on end, it's a good horse!
