I think these show that there is something seriously wrong with the Y chromozome and it doesn't improve until the carrier reaches the age of 50 or so.

No men involved, but dangerous. The horse can easily slip getting out and panic

I saw that one too. I'm thinking the horse fell in. He didn't look too sure of himself.

I just think that it is the fact that we have all done stupid things, just we don't all have it on film and put on the net. Most of them are kids just having fun. Nobody getting hurts but themselves. ;-) If you never tried stuff like that as a kid, you either never had the chance to or you were awfully stuffy. I know have tried it before.

Boy that was one tall horse in the second video and don't you get the feeling these were just some guys that found some horses out in somebody's field and dared each other to hop on. I'd be really annoyed if some guys did that to my horses! I wouldn't care if THEY got trampled, but what if one of my horses hurt his hoof stepping on one of them?

And how did that horse get IN the pool. That was really dangerous!!! Not to mention what it probably did to the pool liner

I've done dumb stuff, but I've done it with my horses or horses I know. I bet those guys just got in the field. There was also one titled bareback drunk riding or something. I've got to say, those horses were nice and patient and the guys were lucky they found nice horses

the videos I posted, no, I never tried that stuff! I knew danger when I was that age!

I think I outgrew being dared into doing dumb things when I was about six. I remember having a healthy survival instinct after that.

When I was a kid an Arabian horse barn had a horse get in their pool and drown. It was before the days when pools were required to be fenced.

This is why God made horses smarter than people.

Hey ABS - Danger/Schmanger - Of COURSE I did this kind of stuff as a kid. And my KIDS did it too cause they would come home with the tell-tale dirty seat of their jeans and I knew they had jumped on the neighbors horses and spun them around the pasture. Was it stupid, I guess, but it was fun, and no horses or children were broken (literally) during the filming. I think half the problem with riders these days is they never learn to ride bareback on DIFFERENT horses. Anyone can ride their own horse, but can you ride your neighbor's horse bareback - no halter??? LOL Does EVERYTHING have to be so serious in our lives? Come on.

ASB and I did some pretty crazy stuff back in our "invincible" days. Gosh, I can't even count the number of stunts we pulled with horses and without.

Except they didn't actually ride them here HAHAHAHAHA

As a KID, yes, I did some stupid stuff, but as an ADULT, no, nothing like these guys are doing. Youngest I would think was 18 in these films.

I do know all those videos were for the fun of it, BUT no one got it like this girl did.

Couldn't agree more.

Oh, and I got a chuckle from the videos....especially the second (tall) horse, who was completely disrepectfull from the get-go...poor guy didn't have a chance.

 I often think the same thing.....but then I think about how those horses were trusted enough by the adults to take care of us on our ALL DAY rides....and take care they did. As HOT as those horses were, somehow they weren't bad enough to kill us. Even though they bolted in an uncontrollable full tilt gallop all the way to the barn (bareback  ) from time to time (usually after we'd frenzied them from racing each other), crow/bunny hopped 95% of the time (WALK?? You mean, horses DO that?!? ), reared, bucked a little, and swam for hours with us...they never were complete whack jobs who we were afraid of. It was weird because, I swear, at times when something called for them to behave in a pinch, they did it....like they knew we were just kids.
The bolting thing....if we knew what we know now (& we didn't weigh 76 lbs soaking wet) then it wouldn't have been an issue. Kenee (the oldest girl who has horse BLOOD in her veins) was the only one who could outsmart any horse & do it right. She saved our butts a bunch of times....the other times, we just looked like this-----> , so we couldn't really hear her instructions.
