What a great ride this weekend. Pie had to have some Corizone shot into his right front knee. But he is really doing good now. So off we went. It was just a short ride so he wouldnt over do it. I forgot when I put his bridle together to put the curb chain on. I miiight as well be riding him with a halter! But he was a good boy and we had a great time. I hope everyone is having fun riding their Pasos too~!

Glad he's feeling better. I got a cortizone shot in my elbow last week, and I also feel a LOT better!
And now....where are those trail ride pictures? ;-)

It's the time of year when we can all get out and ride our Pasos. :crazy bannana
Now, if we could just all be retired like Carol so we could spend the day w/our horses...that would be heaven. ;-)
Glad you and Pie had a great ride.

ok, I got it figured out. It is so easy to do!! Anyway, We rode down the hill to the river. We even crossed the bridge. Pie really enjoyed himself. If you dont have the time to ride, make the time! I feel like I am on a natural high after a ride. Especially with country like this to look at!
Best wishes to all, Bobbi

What a beautiful place to ride...it's so GREEN! Too bad they paved your "Bridle path) off the side of the road..but, hey, at least you have one...great!
Your boy is sure pretty.

Pie is really pretty. He looks like a pretty big paso too. How old is he and what's wrong with his knee? Glad he is sound enough for riding. That looks like a nice place to ride!

Well, girl, you have redeemed yourself with those beautiful pictures! What a georgous place you have to ride. Pie is a very handsome guy! You are one lucky lady, and I am so glad he is sound to ride. Hope he continues to improve with his knee.
I know what you mean about coming off a ride and feeling so relaxed and "good" Nothing better than a nice ride with you best friend!

Wow, you are really close to me. It's nice when you can find people on the forum that are close enough to go visit! Yoiu'll have to come over and go to the horse auction with me, just for the fun of it. That is where I got Pie.
Are you having any problems getting hay? We have a hay auction right here in Belle Plaine on Thursdays. I'm thinking of buying some extra just in case this drought gets worse. I have a hayfield but it wont do any good if the grass doesnt grow! Thanks for responding! We will have to get together so we can talk Pasos!!!! Bobbi

Hi Bobbi.
Yeah, I live in Shak but board in Belle Plaine. Kind of by Sponsels Apple Orchard. Fortunately I don't have to manage the hay supply! And nobody's been talking about it.
We're leaving for Seattle tomorrow so I won't be around for a week, but when I get back I'll PM you and we can get together. I'd like to check out the auction and talk paso's with someone!
Have a great week!

Hi Tory!
I work at Sponsels apple orchard. I turned them in two years ago for horse neglect. I have been friends with Tom and Jenny for about 15 years, but when it comes to the neglect of their horses, all bets were off. I was just up there last week and so far the horses look ok. They work hard and Tom is in charge of feeding them, so they are looking healthier. In fact, they just brought their little Mini stallion up here to breed with my little mare. I rescued her from the auction last Nov. and they said she was covered by the stallion. I actually rescued two Minis. My girlfriend took the other one and they think she is in foal. They have the cutest little Mini maturnity ward set up for her. I wish she's have it, it's driving us nuts waiting for the baby!
This is really weird, But I'm from Tacoma, Wash, born and raised. Kiss a tree for me!!! Have a nice trip and we will talk when you get back. Bobbi
