Why in the WORLD would someone have 80 horses if they can't feed them???

Who knows why people have any animals they can't feed ?
The article mentions they are looking into whether they were brought into Texas legally - could he have brought them in to be taken to slaughterhouse and was caught short when they closed ? :rant

Who knows, but it is terrible. I hope some survive and live a good life after this, a life w/food.
