We are in the middle of June...and she is able to wear a long sleeve shirt and chaps. :shock: I can tell she doesn't live in Miami. I'm about to have a heat stroke just thinking about how hot I'd be in wearing that here.

Terri...ya, she did pretty good, especially since she was riding a trotting horse....once she got on Centauro, she couldn't believe the difference...but the funny thing is she asked to get back on Kira so she could ride some more. She loves to ride.

Actually I thought Saturday was pretty warm. We were at that parade and it felt pretty hot out. But anything above 75 feels really hot to me. Today I am melting all over the place. How the heck do you folks down south stand this! I try to get stuff done inbetween dives in the pool. No I do not have AC, hate AC. And oh yeah, the horses look like they are dying. They fighting over the stall closest to the fan. NONE will venture out of the barn.

BUT....just talked to a gal I met last year. Her Rocky Mtn mare is done with training and ready for trail experience. My mare will be a perfect match to show hers the way. Also....her and some gals have wanted to go to Otter Creek (large trail system here), but too afraid to go without someone knowing the trails. I know them fairly well, so I have been chosen as trail guide. They don't have to know I got lost last time I went :lol:

Now to go bug the local paso owners again and listen to their excuses :roll:

I wish I lived closer too! I had so much fun with you guys, but man I was worn out after that weekend! But if I lived there, I would be in horsey heavan! My nearest paso buddy is 20 min away, then the others are at least an hour away from me. Maybe Jen and I can get down there sometime for a trail ride. I would love to go to Myles Standish someday!
