A camp out this weekend at Silver Falls. We were not able to stay and camp but went for a day ride and the wonderful potluck that is always a part of our campouts.

Nice wide trails

The little Pom is Beaucephus. He is about 10 years old and has been riding since he was a tiny puppy. He is absolutely nuts about riding on the horse and starts to whine and drive you crazy as soon as you start getting the horse ready. We wind up putting him up on the horse just to get him to shut up. He goes on all of our camping trips, or rides. People may not remember me or my horse but they always remember the little dog. Many, Many people ask us to stop so they can get a picture of Beau on the horse.

One time I had all of our riding mares in foal or nursing and we had to borrow two TWH to go on the annual Paso camp out. Beau was so tired at the end of the day, he just went to bed, it was much harder on him keeping his balance on a TWH compared to our Paso Finos. Do not worry, all of our saddles have a pad in the back for him to ride on, he has a harness on and is attached to the saddle so no matter what he can not fall off. If he falls down one of our friends will holler, "Beau Down" and we just reach around and pull him back up on his pad.
