I always wondered how you guys got the tongue photos....well, now I have mine!

Notice I said summer photos and they all still have partial winter coats? By the time they fully shed(soon?), they will be starting the winter coats in. My buckskin has about 3-4 weeks where I can get good photos of him. It is still in the 40's-50's here at night sometimes.

That is an adorable little pony! Your kids must love him (her?) to pieces.
Wow, you old paso looks like he is in terrific shape! And Solona is beautiful....she must be your riding mare?

Laura....Yes, solona is my riding mare. She is great.....loves the trails, competative, but has a great whoa to her. Very dependable.

The old paso is in great shape, xcept for arthritis. Doesn't slow him down in the pasture. And he is in love with Solona and has shown her so  . Actually hopped the fence this winter to "love" on her this winter while they were seperated. He was a stud until age 15, so he knows his business!

And the mini (justin) is wonderful. I pull him out of the pasture after weeks, even months of no use and can hook him to the cart or throw the girls on him and he is quiet. The girls are getting good.....can get on him "properly" and have started trotting briefly. Leadline only. They can do anything with him and he tolerates it.

Thanks all.

Those pics are really nice. I love the one of the mini with his head through the gate. Do you mask you older horse because the sun/snow bothers his eyes?

Barb.....yes. Valedor has very sensitive eyes and ends up with abrasions easily. Wind, bugs....everything seems to bother him. Much less so after his cushings was diagnosed and treated, but I am still cautious.

The mini has his fly mask on....the first time in a long time. He has always gotten them off, but I looped it through his grazing muzzle this time. Poor thing looks pitiful.....

I can't keep masks on Mojo or Amante, and Mojo really needs one with his sensitive blue eyes.

Hmmmm. The pasos practically put their heads in them for me.

Justin even puts his nose in the grazing muzzle for me. He is either really gullible (gets a treat everytime), or a very good boy.
