Profeta Offspring

Especially professionals. Those with experiencing training Profeta offspring, please email me and let me know experience. I would like to know what you have found regarding temperament and gait. I train but have not previously worked with this bloodline and am comtemplating a purchase. It would be helpful to have some feedback.

All I have to say!!!!!! the ones that I have experienced are EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!!!! not one negative thing to say of PROFETA!!!! other that is no mine :lol:

Now, keep in mind that the up bringing of any horse could be the results of behavior factors

Have raised 2 of his fillies. They were a dream to train, great disposition.
True gait.

Could ride one in the pasture with no tack of any kind at 3 yo.

I had a son and now own a grandson. Both a delight, I would not hesitate to buy another one. They are very gentle sweet and super intelligent!!

I've boarded with a son out of my pure Colombian mare. A 12 year old boy rode him as a stallion bareback. Now he was a pistol as far as being fairly high energy and mischievous but very smart, well gaited and a nice boy. I wanted to breed his mother back to him but his owner didn't believe in inbreeding. A real loss to the breed in my opinion not to have been able to do this since he has since been gelded and is her only colt. All others are fillies. So we'll try with her grandson. The son was very small so if you want size you'd better be sure mom is big because the colt was smaller than mom or dad and mom threw some very big babies with other famous stallions.

Hector Lans owns two beautiful Profeta mares. Very high quality mares. They both have excellent dispositions and are very forgiving and willing for their rider.

I have had 2 Profeta's sons. One Mare La Geisha and One colt (el Rey)I still own him. .
Like Caliber said , I would say they are extraordinary. quality of these horses is temperment, gait and brio.I love profeta as a Producer!

I have a 10 year old Profeta daughter I've raised and trained....the disposition, willingness and training is very easy with a soft gait.

His name is EL REY DE 4 Aces(Profeta X La baraja de 4 Aces). He is turning 4 next week!
He will be at the show(July 13,14,15), competing in A/O Fino Colts and Professional Fino 4 yr Class! So watch out for him!!!!! :lol:

He is a sweetheart! He is good in competition ( In Jan got 1st in professional Fino 4yr, in March got 4th). also we take him for trails!

My trainer owns a Profeta daughter, fino mare Geisha de Rabanal.
She is wonderful! Delightfully temperment, Great gait, gorgeous, and an extream pleasure to ride and train. She is always willing to ride and learn.
I would breed to Profeta or a Profeta lined horse any day! Especially if I had a mare that did not have the best temperament or hocks….Breed Profeta!!!
