I would really love to get him a puppy!! We have talked about this & are looking, but haven't found what we wanted price wise. :(

Maybe someone could point us in the right direction.

MyPasos - where in TN are you? Have you tried your local shelters? Newspaper give-away ads? There are always plenty in the Nashville area - I can help you look.....

I have tried local shelters around Manchester & Tullahoma. Sadley, most of these shelters are horribe, condition wise & most of the dogs are the kind I really don't want. Rotts, Pit Bull mixes.

I would like to find a small, small teacup, toy, runt mutt. We live in Franklin County, but will travel to check some out.

I have seen a few in Rutherford county, I have sent them an email of my interest & could they please send more info.

The other place you can try is www.craigslist.com Pet section.

Often times they have people rehoming their puppies for low to no cost.

I am going to try to go to the Nashville animal shelter. They had some very small dogs & puppies there. Bad thing is, I want to take them ALL home.

We went to the Tullahoma Shelter.....OMG!!! :evil: :evil:

The conditions their were absolutly disgusting!!!! :puke
There were about 5 dogs + to each of their pens(maybe 6 pens) & the big dog pen had only 2 dog houses & 4 dogs. 2 of the bigger dogs had mange really bad.

It made me sick that a City department would be in that condition!!!
