I should note that because of the size of the barn at the Ranch, we are limited to 30 horses for this ride. Be one of the 30, sign up early!
One more (Thank you PASOFAN!!!)

The stalls cost $140 for the weekend. That includes a sterilized stall, shavings, the barn hand to feed (your feed), and clean the stalls while we're out riding. We have a block of rooms at the Best Western in Cottonwood, I think they are $75/night for a room with 2 Queen size beds. There is also parking at the ranch (no hookups though) for those with RVs or LQ trailers.
We're going to do a group dinner at Sizzler on Saturday night.

Erin, most of us live in pretty flat places too. You just ride and get your horse in condition, do as many hills as you can. You don't climb those cliffs, you ride in between them. I'm sure there will be some steep and some rocky, but mostly will be sandy trails. This area is all sandstone and it breaks down to sand.

Glenn made a pre-ride video of the barn (where we'll keep the horses) and the trail head.

I heard from Glenn that there are only two remaining openings for this ride, so if any of you were considering it, NOW is the time to get a hold of him.
