The actual auction isn't until December, but I wanted to start soliciting donation items.
Proceeds from the APF.com Silent Auction go to upgrading our server and hosting costs, as well as some of the promotional items I have been circulating (such as buttons, stickers and flyers). I would also like to purchase some better equipment for filming all the fun things you all want to see from my travels and barn tours (when I don't have Showtime's camera) .
Now here's how the auction works: from now until December you can post what items you'd be willing to donate to the auction. Note that donated auction items do NOT have to be horse related!!! At the end of November we'll post a complete list of all the items available for bidding throughout December. I am thinking maybe I can post items up for bid on ebay and post the links here for viewing. Then the donator of the item can ship directly to the purchaser after the auction.
I think I can start the donations w/ a box of Dixie Pride Seasoning. 8-)

Can I donate a cat? Would anyone actually bid on a cat? My barn is full of strays that find us and I'd love to send one (or two!) to someone who would really appreciate them. I can offer up a choice of colors and styles!

Good one. I don't think ebay lets you sell live animals on it. ;-)

Barbara, here is the link to the pasoboard message that has some of the pics in them. The pictures do not do them justice, you can ask Carolyn Baker for personal reference, she owns the pink one.

I will donate a 1-2 hour Photo Shoot with one 5x7 print plus provided on CD 3 more high resolution photos. Photos are for personal use only to share with friends & family. Web use is ok but no stallion promotion pictures and are not for advertising use. Howevever, I would have the rights to use the photo/s in my own portfolio. Photo shoot can be for just the horse OR owner with horse portrait. Portrait, under saddle or liberty. Its your choice. Any breed of horse is ok. Winner will have to be within the Tampa or surrounding area(Brooksville/Ocala/Brandon/Lakeland) Lets say within 1 hour driving distance from Tampa. Attached are a few sample photos.
