There's a show in Columbia, SC? I'm in Aiken and didn't hear of it!

Candice, you going to visit Stella while you're here?

Thought you were going to camp???

I assume the show is at the fairgrounds which is downtown near the University. There are a number of hotels downtown but I'd go out a little ways and get a chain like Hampton Inn.

I'm in Aiken too and didn't know either... Where is it? Maybe we can visit at least.

Who says I'm asking for me???

PH, I'd love to visit Stella! Last year didn't work out, because I was chauffering some guests back to the Atlanta airport. This year I'm on my own. I should be in Columbia sometime Friday evening.

I'd love to meet you again! Sunday will probably be my only "free" day b/c of my son's birthday (he'll be 3!). How long are you going to be in town?

It occurred to me that some Universities rent dorm rooms especially for the weekend. You might call University of SC and ask. If not surely they know all the local motels since parents visit all the time.

HOT very hot; but a very nice show with more participants and horses at both shows.

I camped out. Friday night was still cool, Saturday was ok, but Sunday?? hot, very hot.

There were some tough classes in pleasure and performance.

And to think, you got there BEFORE the heat wave!

Yeah, thank goodness! I missed you at the show and Stella's. I baked! Lovely horses and I need to come back when the weather is more suitable to be outside. She's got some interesting yearlings and babies.

I'm hoping for a repeat in October, but need to check the dates first.

As hot as it was, it was better than last year at N. Augusta. Last year the arena didn't have good ventilation or insulation so the heat radiated down on top of exhibiters. It was more comfortable in the bleachers in the full sun than in the arena.

I got to meet some of the PPR APF folks too. Wished we had more time to gab but folks were busy with their horses or managing the show.
