Well, I am trying to quietly plan for a SURPRISE vacation for next year, only this time I want to take the horses.
If some of you think back a long while ago, I was interested in taking a cattle drive or wagon train or something to that affect.
I am trying to figure out a place to take a "ridem" vacation. I would really love some place that has an "active" ghost town. I know they exsist. Mark and I both love to travel, so I am looking for something out of the state of Tennessee.
Any ideas?

Oh, PS.....I have a 20yr old truck and a 20 year old trailer. Hmmmm, who will be over heated more?
PSS...I am looking for some place that is in the radius of oh, say 500 miles, but not much more than that.

Well, it isn't a ghost town or anything - but there is a B&B in the Poco's of Pennsylvania - Over the Moon is the name - Georgi Offrell is the owner, prices are very reasonable - she has a barn/farm for boarding horses while on your vacation - and has Pasos of her own....in fact Marci's daddy is there!

She has a web site - just do a search for the B&B name - it is very small, I think only 2 guest bedrooms.....she has a wonderful house, set in the woods overlooking the barn - you feel like you are cut off from everything, yet even NYC is only about an hour away!

Let me know if you can't find it, or need more info.

Thanks Lisa, I will try to look it up. Are they updated with the B&B association?

That sounds quiet and quaint. :D  :D
