Work Crews Need Formed?

I know KAB and family in Okeechobee are going to need lots of help recovering from Wilma. I would be willing to go along and do what I can. Hey, if nothing else I can supply moral support, coffee and hot chocolate. I can come self contained in my horse trailer, with generator if it's allowed to run. All I need is a water connection.

I know also many horse families in Miami/Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties will be needing our help.

If work crews are formed, please sign me up to help. If I have a choice, I wish to help Kathy & the Okeechobee crew. They are great folks, always help others out, and it's payback time!

I am heading down today to check on my kitty and Tequila. But there is no electricity yet, so I will be back to Sebring tonight. But if anyone needs supplies are anything I can bring them, just let me know. I have already contacted KAB and asked if I could bring her anything....she says they are fine.

We really ARE fine.We have power, feed, now drying pastures,machines to help with the work.We have tree limbs down.We have one barn down.UNLess we do an old fashioned "barn raising" we're good.Already have ins. adjusters calling back.Most of our stores are open.I am back to work.The things that we need to do (picking up limbs etc.) can be done when we have the time.But it is so very wonderful of you all to be concerned.Sounds like Miami may need you more tho.Now if you want to stop by we might even delay the clean-up long enough to go for a trail ride.Priorities folks!!!!History is proving that there will be work to do ....clean-up then get another taste of Mother Nature(I know why they call her "mother" now) :lol: :lol: last year I was really depressed about the storms but this year is better---as long as everyone stays safe.............
