Virginia Presidential PFHA anounced

NEW PFHA REGION APPROVED

The Paso Fino Horse Association Board of Directors approved the addition of the
Virginia Presidential Paso Fino Horse Association at the 2006 Paso Fino Horse
Association Board of Directors and Annual Membership Convention, held January 13
– 15, in Redondo Beach, CA. The new region will encompass the state of
Virginia.

According to the PFHA Rule Book a region is a group of people interested in the
aims of the Association. The group must be comprised of at least thirty voting
members in good standing in the Association and must have indicated the
willingness to change their regional designation for voting purposes to the new
regional group.

The PFHA is now made up of 24 regions across the U.S., in South America and

I wanted to say (since no one else here was there) that Ann did an excellent job presenting their case...and had tears in her eyes when they won the vote count. It was a special moment.

She deserves KUDOS from the Virginia crowd....she did a fine job.

I'm confused. I thought Virginia had joined the Florida region several years ago. Does this mean they are breaking off from Florida?
Or did I miss another iteration of this saga somewhere along the way?
