They are playing all Elvis movies on TCM channel today in memory of 'the King'....this is the date of his 'passing', right?.

Yeah, 30 years ago...right? I can tell you exactly where I was when I heard the news. I worked in a small office with another woman, and it came over the radio in our office. We both started to bawl right there in front of customers, other clerks and supervisors. I think a good many of them were in tears also.
No matter what you thought personally about The King...you gotta admit...there'll never be another Elvis. :(

I was in my car on the way to work, and I also started crying.
Elvis was an incredibly talented man who was ruined by his fame and those handling him. He was the King.
