Because yesterday and today the temperatures have been unseasonably warm -- about 50 degrees -- and they've been out skating.....

IN THEIR SHORTS!

Saw it on the news last night! Saw them on the rinks today! Folks out there -- on skates, in short sleeves and wearing shorts!

Every time we go to Florida, which isn't that often, and always in the winter, we're the dorks blundering around in short sleeves and shorts. Well, J wears shorts- I never wear shorts, but I'll wear capris. Everyone else has on huge coats and overalls, and we look like we're crazy, Lol.

When John and I lived in Yuma, AZ (triple-digits 6 months out of the year), we would go over to San Diego or LA and we would be wearing sweatshirts because it was 65 degrees (and damp). We had another 60+ day here in SD today and people are wearing shorts!!

I'll be SO GLAD when it's BAREFOOT weather! I hate shoes!

They're out in sandals here ... in January! It's supposed to be WELL below freezing (like 10-15F) most days. Instead we're having lows of freezing at night and highs in the day of up to 50F!

Just heard the weather report. We're looking at above freezing temperatures for the next week!

we is getting about the same thing here in TN, 50's almost every day and barely freezing maybe half the time at night, and that's well above normal, we're usually running in the teens and 20's for a good part of Jan.

I wanted to ride today, but Zumi and Ickis are awful in this kind of footing we've had, and Beauty's lame from Zumi runnin' trains on her for the past three days.

Ugh. Mares. Disgusting.
