Marci may be in a MOVIE

I need to get some more details, but there is a PBS move that is being filmed locally, and the cousin of the producer is a neighbor of mine.....he stopped by to see if I had any horses that would be suitable - and of course I told him about Marci!

I have to email the people, am going to send pictures, but they sound pretty open as far as the type of horse - all it has to do is BEHAVE!

cool! I watched the trailer. How far along is the movie, looks like they have done the battle scenes. What do they need a little Paso for?

They are planning on finishing the final shoot on September 17th in Fort Johnson, about 20 minutes from me....they need a horse for a scene to be riding down the road in a 'parade', also some 'extra' horses to just be held on the sidelines.....

I PM'd Barbwire to see if she was available with Amante too.......heheehehe

I contacted the lady you told me about Lisa, but I still haven't heard back. The filiming date is awfully close to Nationals; I hope it works out. I'd LOVE for Amante to do it.

If Amante really does get to be President Washingtons horse and the scenes don't get cut, the Paso Assoc public relations dept needs to be all over this like white on rice. What an AWESOME opportunity to do some really good PR for our breed of choice!!

That will be TWO movie star horses!!!!! I just got off the phone, and Marci will be in 2 scenes.....one will be filmed on Sept. 9th, the other the 17th (When Barb will be there).......
