All right, guys. As some of you may know (or guessed) a Paso Fino is out of my reach as of right now due to many different un-fun circumstances.
So. To satisfy my Paso cravings and maybe kill some of this desperateness to ride...
Show me pictures of your Pasos showing their brio! I want manes flying and arched necks, bucks, kicks, and general WHEE-ness! I want Pasos strutting their stuff!
What've you got for me?
Hehe.

Carol: Aww, you're sweet. I'm dying to get my butt in a saddle with ANYTHING four-legged underneath me. Hell, I'd go out and ride the worst bucker on the face of planet just to get some ride time (well, that'd prolly be DIRT time, but, hey, you know!)
Motorgypsy: That picture of Sultan is absolutely gorgeous in every way possible. I'm drooling. And that first picture made me giggle a bit. Is that you in the saddle? LEAN, GIRL, LEAN! What in the world was going on there?! That Paso is an amazing color, though. I can't really tell if there's a dorsal stripe, so I'm guessing buckskin, right? Either way, if THAT ONE goes missing, he's not in Southern MA, either!
Oooh, I just noticed a video posted... -skitters to watch!!-
Amanda :D
ETA: Boyd R, you are totally my new best friend. And HAHAHHAA "Well ain't this a scene? A horseback rider chasing a bike rider chasing a jogger!" Definitely LOL'd at that! Excuse me while I go back to having a great ride on a great Paso ^.~

Love that pic of Boyd and my buddy, Two.
I sure wish you lived near me, or I lived near you. I need someone to ride Q for me while my health is...doing whatever it's doing...it sure ain't getting better!
More 'boring' than brio...but it's cute!

DAAW. Her face is precious, Heidi. Question: Are you Heidi n Q on the HorseCity.com message boards? I'm AngustheCow over there.
I just finished watching that video, Boyd. THANK YOU. That was AWESOME. I felt like I was in the saddle! And you guys meet a LOT of people out on the trails. When I ride up in New Hampshire, we're lucky if we see two people. And normally it's two people on dirtbikes, and when you're riding a Thoroughbred cross...!!!!

Sultan is a silver slate grulla dun with very prominant markings. Notice his ears are even striped. He's an amazing ride.

Chinook was getting ready to do a 180 at my request. A barrel turn so to speak with no barrel. Just for fun. I was leaning back because she was decelerating so fast. We were running flat out and doing hairpin turns for fun. She's my barrel and speed event horse. Zero to top speed in one stride and turns on a dime. Texas barrels is her best event. (the three barrels in a line and the horse weaves in and out.) She can do it at a full gallop. All the speed events we've done I had no photos so I asked Darlene to take some at Nationals last year while we pretended to be running an event. It was GREAT FUN!!

I work our horses in multi use parks in the subs of Atlanta. I make a great trail horse in a short period of time;

Boyd: That must be a blast. Those trails looked amazing.
motorgyspy: That's so cool! Sultan does have stripes on his ears! What a neat color! And Chinook must be a BLAST to ride! Love that picture of the hunter pace with the chestnut having all that nummy grass hanging out of his mouth. And the largo race must equal MUCH fun. Speed is intoxicating ^.~
Thanks everyone! DEFINITELY getting the dose of Paso-ness that I need!
Now if only I could find one in the area to RIDE! There was a guy down the street that had a Paso, but I didn't know he WAS a Paso (I had speculated, but was too chicken to knock on the guy's door. Haha!) until I talked to the guy as he was sitting on his porch. Granted, the horse was a seven year old stallion that hadn't been working in a year...but I totally woulda got on him anyway!

When it's too hot or too cold or I'm too tired to ride and it's too dark to see the the horses outside my window it's great fun to just look at the pictures and remember all the great time we've had. They are amazing animals!!
