Have you all seen or heard about this?
his Confepaso report, Dr. Laracuente stated that 20% of the horses shown at the Mundial in Puerto Rico were registered with PFHA. These horses earned 10 1st place awards, 8 2nd place awards, 4 3rd place awards and 2 5th place awards.
Dr. Laracuente also reported that at the Judges and Stewards Clinic after the 2005 Mundial, all of the judges present-including those from the USA-signed an agreement that after grandfathering in horses born prior to the 2005 Mundial they would disqualify horses with altered tails.
• Motion that International competition is defined as Mundial or World Cup only, passed.
• Motion that the PFHA BOD create a Mundial Committee to work with the PFHA staff to execute Confepaso 2007 Mundial, passed.
EDITING to add.... Now that is taking some accountability, showing a backbone, and giving me more "faith" in the PFHA...a step in the right direction..if you ask me! ;-)
