Prosecutors have told him to expect 18-36 months in medium security federal prison which is no picnic. His lawyers were trying to get a promise of a year or less but his judge likes to go for the maximum. Then the NFL will probably want to suspend him for at least a year and see after that. The team is also checking with the league to see how they go about getting some of his $66M signing bonus back. It's a very complicated thing with his contract but basically he is in default of his contract with the guilty plea.
Most think his NFL career is over. I would hope so.

The usual is that if the felon pleads guilty, they make the sentence lighter. I hope that is NOT the case here. I want to see the bugger suffer. Nothing they do to him will be as bad as what he inflicted on his dogs, but at least it will be something.

I hope and pray his career is over. We don't need kids thinking THAT kind of sadistic moron is someone to look up to and to emulate.

(And I hope they get every nickel of the $66M back. They should be able to as there is usually some kind of clause negating the contract if the person does something illegal. I reeeeaaalllly hope that's how it shakes out.)
