A very excited and pleased little lady just left my house here. She is buying Terry Wallace's little gelding, Ziggy, and Terry is busy on her end getting paperwork and Coggins completed for his shipment to Texas. We'll be going to meet Terry halfway and transfer the horse. After 11 years I'm hoping to finally get to meet her IN PERSON! :D
Alex, Ziggy's new owner, is at present owner of a lovely Paso Fino mare, Pilotita Sin Par, a daughter of Piloto Sin Par, so she's not totally green to Pasos, and she'll be checking in on the board here this afternoon! Let's extend a warm welcome to Alex and see if we can get her to become an APF.com addict like the rest of us!!
Ziggy is going to an absolutely WONDERFUL home... ;-)

I owe Carol N a BIG thank you for telling Alex about Ziggy.
I hope Alex will be happy with the "big guy" and that he gets a happy "forever" home.
Alex... I'd advise you to buy that boy a Jolly Ball.... he loves them, he plays a LOT...
Now..ANYBODY here anywhere close to Plainview Texas? Tell us of a GOOD place to eat! We will all be tired and in need of Sustenance by the time we get to Plainview....
Besides.....I may have to stop at the APHA building in Amarillo on my way down to Plainview!

He's the sweet little guy with the partial facial paralysis...he just pulled on the heartstrings of this lady when she heard about him.
I was trying to figure out a way to squeeze him in here when she came along and said, "I'll take him...!" ;-) :D

Ya know....just WHAT is it about these Pasos...the lady buying Ziggy is a friend of a woman who bought my little mare, Destiny, last spring. She already had a couple of Paso Fino geldings, and wanted a mare....and now Alex, with her Paso mare, buying Ziggy...??
Sounds like another symptom of the "Lay's Potato Chip" syndrome...
Can't have just one...!! ;-)

ROAD TRIP!!! :D :D :D
The AQHA has their hall of fame in Amarillo...I will be stopping to see that! On the way back.... when the trailer is empty.

I'm sorry...I guess I posted this in the Newbie Corral under the thread welcoming Aphlazyh, and completely let this thread die:
There's been two times that my job as brokering these lovely Paso Finos of ours has been particularly moving and rewarding...once was when I sold a little bay Paso mare belonging to a very needy family to a couple in San Diego CA for their grandchildren. The little mare had a fallen crest...but she was CHILD SAFE! Those people saw her in person, fell in love and bought her immediately for a nice price and the family needed the money desparately. (That was the one where my commission was paid in chickens! :D ).
The second one was today...here's a pic of that memorable union....

This was the first meeting between Alex, (aphlazyh), and Ziggy, Terry Wallace's little gelding with the partial face paralysis.
I just think somehow everything's gonna work out alright between these two, don't you??? ;-) :D
