After the rain yesterday we only got to 79. Of course we did go back up today but only 93. Still better than triple digits!

For the past 4 days it hasn't gotten over 72. Today it hovered around 69 and I am loooooving it. Unfortunately the heat is coming back this weekend. But Sept is coming. I love Sept, Oct and Nov. The weather is cool and crisp, kids are in school and there are no bugs.....my favorite time of year.

So when do we get some rain????

Maybe tomorrow, maybe the weekend, maybe next week. They did that chance of thunderstorm thing for several days over the next 7. You know, the one were they just throw in the chance because they really have no idea if it will rain or not. So pray hard and do your rain dance and maybe, just maybe it will rain the next county over and not touch you.

Yeah I think we here in the east have been quiet about our weather for the past few days for fear we would be innundated with people ;-) ..It has been in the upper 50's to low 60's in the morning and mid to upper 60's during the day for the last three days..We have had rain for the last three..pretty steady too. When I brought the horses in yesterday morning, I actually had 2 that were ..get this..SHIVERING ..!! I wore a heavy chamois type shirt all day yesterday and was glad to have it..one more day of cooler temps, but less rain today then in the eighties tomorrow then heading back to the 90's though and with as wet as the ground is its gonna feel like a sauna..but we needed the moisture

Well, we had - hopefully our last - 100 degree+ day on Friday. No rain for weeks, only two storms all summer, one in June and one in July (put out all those fires). Now we're dry, dry, dry. But, it has cooled off, 68 here this morning and high of 90 today forecast. Sure glad..those high temps chase me inside. 24 days over 100 here this summer, a record breaker for us.

Sooo..CarolU and anyone else...

Didja all see the NBC news report that global warming is now "confirmed", that there is no more argument that its NOT happening... that those who think it is not happening are now referred to as "denyers"?

Its been hot as all get out here too... probably a record breaker, not sure.

All I can say is....."get used to it" and try to prepare.

Its not likely to get any better anytime soon if ever. What gets me is how bad and ferociuos the storms get now, the hurricanes, the tornadoes, the sunamis. Even the hail here has gotten bigger than ever...some golf ball & base ball hail sized hail reported in Colorado this week!

All I want is a job I can RIDE to! A holding corral for my horse to stay in!!!
