Wild Paso-Eating Monster hidden in brush, waiting to spring on us (we had it on good authority that she was waiting to eat us)

Having survived the monster, over the next ridge,

Just in case you don't believe I ever get out on these rides, at the top of No. Willow

Wow, that's pretty country. Glad the monster let you pass, hope you have fun Friday, too. How's the temperature at that altitude this time of year? Seems like it'd be cool(er) up there.

Is it Rose Mary? ...... :D

DING DING...yes, it's Rose Mary. She's here while her husband attends a USANA (vitmins) conference near Ogden.

Yes Greg. In the summer, when the temps are in the high 90's or triple digits in the valleys, we trailer up the canyon and ride in the mountains. Up in the high elevations (over 7,000 feet) it's in the 60's, but here it was in the high 70's and low 70's on the north slopes under the trees. Very pleasant riding. Steep, rocky trails. Rose said she sees why I shoe. Even took her up/down our own version of Cougar Rock.

I have three rides (including one over 8,000 feet) I haven't posted yet. My computer was in the shop and just up and reloaded with my photo programs. But, since Rose is here, I thought I'd post this one now.

Lucky Rose Mary!
But, really really lucky carol for living in such spectacular beauty! And being able to ride in it, too!

Yes really lucky Rose Mary!! :D

Carol was really great to take me out and share her horses and her trails. It was fantastic and I hope to be able to take her on a ride in our part of the country some day.

Carol you have a standing offer at my house if you ever get up to Alberta!

P.S. Carol can you post my favorite picture of you and Zar. (The 3/4 shot that I took of you with the mountain range in the background.)
