Congratulations!!!! The Cabalgata(trail ride)was a sucess, some sources from other forums that where there reported that apprx. 2000 horses......where present!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! stunning!

Hey that is what many thinks!!! but here is to inform the world what a wonderfull Cabalgatas (trail rides) we have in Colombia, jejejejejejejeje
Department of Antioquia,! Medellin, !!!and other cities within the Department... (Department is like the entire STATE)
Oh Kerry, stallions and mares together too!!! jejejejeje

Thanks Felix...great map. For some stupid reason, I missed the name of the town! :oops: :roll: I think my eye just zoomed to Cabalgata, I love photos of those!
That is an AMAZING number of horses and riders to show up in the rain! I assume that most of the horses are in that area?

Fino, Trocha, Trote, some mules (some likely gaited), and I saw a pinto of some sort pulling a cart (had a gorgeous neck on it). From all I have heard from the people there, most of these horses are "local". It is too difficult to transport the horses over great distances, so if someone is coming from another city, someone will lend them a horse to ride. I think we take for granted, our freeways, slant load trailers and diesel duallys. Few people there, have such luxuries. Getting to a show, or an event such as this, takes a great deal of effort for most.
