A plea for help was posted on another board. With the drought they say they can't feed their herd of 57.
Pretty sad.

they're geezers on a pension and with hay more than doubled in price it's too much for them to handle they say.

Lots more on the website but the latest I think are for 06. Sounds like time just snuck up on them and the drought killed the pasture so they're having to do hay this year and it's too pricey on a pension.

True but hindsight is always perfect. When we can all walk on water then we can all judge - especially when we don't know the whole story. The point of the Blog is noble but some find it fun to beat up on people who can't defend themselves.
I hope they can get some help there. I personally love the old apps.

The problem with the blog is that the participants have become repetitive in their "put-downs" and language, although there are a few who write well, and seem to have some education and knowledge of the breeds they discuss. Overall, there have been times that reading the blog, leaves one with a sense of not "wishing to be in the company" of the writers. When the discussion is clear as to conformational faults or other health issues it is definitely informative.
