Paso Finos are used in many ways. A few months back Pastor Bill Masciangelo rode "Caballo's 38" to church dressed as a Methodist Minister Circuit Rider. Picture was sent in by Susan Masciangelo, his wife.

Reduction of Lifetime Members fees is

The U.S. Golden Lifetime membership has been reduced from $1500 to $1000.The U.S. Lifetime membership has been
reduced from $1000 to $500. There is also a discount for International members.

A Golden Lifetime - International Membership has been reduced from $2,000 to $1,500.

A Lifetime Membership - International membership

On the International memberships, additional fees
to be determined by the Paso Fino Horse Association

a PBS documentary on 'An
American General - Benedict
Arnold'. Filming will be taking
place in September, in beautiful
Upstate New York. Lisa's 7 year
old mare Marquesa de la Danza
will be in filming for two scenes,
and Barbara's 7 year old gelding
Prometido Amante BF will be
filmed for a scene as George
Washingston's steed!

Marquesa has already had
experience being a 'test subject'
for Fire Services training at the
New York State Fire Academy
(and will be teaching again this
September), and Amante is a
veteran of the NYC Puerto
Rican Day Parade. Both Lisa
and Barbara are looking forward
to this new adventure!

MAKES NEW APPOINTMENT

The Board of Directors of the Southern Regional
Paso Fino Horse Association appointed Clayton Fell as the acting President until a special election can be held at their next general meeting October 17, 2007.

Valley Farm Credit of WInchester, VA, announced today they have launched a promotion to give away a tack room makeover.

Horse owners in 15 states are offered a chance to spruce up their tack rooms by entering "Lucky U," a tack room makeover giveaway now thru through March 31, 2008.
Eligible participants can enter "Lucky U" by completing an online entry form or submitting their information by mail. Visit the "Lucky U" Web site at www.tackroommakeover.com for official rules and details.

A random drawing of all entries will take place on or about April 1, 2008, to select five finalists. The five finalists will compete for the grand prize, a tack room makeover valued at $5,000, by writing

It is GREAT seeing pictures of people I 'know' and their horses on the e-news.

Jodi - yes, the filming is for a PBS 2 hour program, not sure when it is going to air - probably this winter? Filming is supposed to wrap up Sept 17th.
