Me for one..And the main reason was to be able to view RFDTV...I always manage to miss the Paso Fino programs tho,but I really enjoy the natural horse training programs....Anyway,today somebody local drops in and ask if they can see the paso fino horses...curiously I asked,do you know about paso finos?...yes,and why?..because they have satellite TV! and they love watching RFDTV!...They even said that they'd like to go to see the Nationals....anyway,I don't think they liked the price but you never know..I think that RFDTV should be available to all farming communities everywhere...I'm sure it will keep growing and I hope that one day I can catch a paso fino program...lol

Hi Fran!
I've been contemplating it myself for the same reason..but I checked into it and the basic package didn't come with RFD..its extra $$ (I only checked with one supplier so far) I just hate the thought if spending money for a bunch of junk I'll never watch. I was hoping someday they'd offer a package that you can pick what you want and pay per channel.
Wishful thinking I guess.... :new confused

Hi Cam

I have Direct TV and RFD TV doesn't come in our package, but I think I only pay a dollar or two to get it a month. We buy a couple channels extra and our monthly bill is around $40. We did have to get a special Direct TV dish to be able to get RFD TV though.

We have satellite in Canada and to be honest I had no idea we could get RFD-TV. doh. I thought it was jst in the US.
Do you have Bell, fran? If so... what number channel is it? Was it in an extra package?

You have to have your satellite dish pointing in the right direction...to the proper satellite...It's called Free Air or FTA...nothing to do with Bell Expressvu...it's Dish TV...channel 231 for me.

According to RFD-TVs web site, it is only available on Direct TV (included) or Dish (for an additional $2 a month). It used to be included on Dish, but recently changed. I guess too many farmers were enjoying he manure spreader ads, so they upped it to a 'premium' channel.
