Ohhhhh IRS makes me so mad*"Mike" lied. No problem

I just got off the phone with the IRS after going through about 10 different H&R Block offices to find out where my refund was. I was told by "Mike" at the IRS, over 116,000 direct deposit account numbers were somehow scrubbed from their computer system and they are going to have to send out paper checks which will not be issued until next Friday or the following Monday. So if you signed up for direct deposit it ain't going to happen.
Here I was looking forward to that little bit of money to help me catch up from the car crap from last month. Guess that is what I get for counting my chickens before they hatch.

Hate to say it, but if that's the worst problem you've ever had with IRS - count your lucky stars! :shock:

I was in the IRS office here in town several years ago cleaning up some loose ends and overheard agents tell a 60+ year old lady that even though they agreed she didn't really owe a large amount of money they had charged her - she would have to pay it anyway before they could clear her account and refund what she was owed..... :roll:
