Well some of you know not many (thank God ;-) ) that I while at nationals got the hairbrain idea to go to the auction on Thur. Night.

and just because its me of course one poor scared to death gelding comes in and acts up no one wants to bid so knowing I should not have brought a 3horse trailer with only 2 horses bids and wins    for lets just say a very good price,I did not know his name age anything about him just that they were basicly giving him away

so after the auction I figure better go see what I bought

Well turnes out he's a grandson of Hilachas! and only 6yrs old  he seems friendly but really scared and was handled a bit rough at some point

here's his bloodlines see I knew you'd ask ;-)

And why am I saying he's a National Treasure :?:

I wondered about that horse when he went through. Please keep us posted about him. He definitely was not happy that day. I will be interested to learn how he comes along and what kind of horse he turns out to be.

Very cool!

I am happy that you found a great companion for your stallion, and a beautiful one at that.

I bet you will bring him out of his shell in no time and will have an awesome horse on your hands.

If you buy it you will fill it!!

His is gorgeous!!! And a Hilachas grandson. WOW. We have a mare with Hilachas three times but much further back and she's a serious keeper and superlargo horse.

Congratulations!!! How great for your boy to have a buddy. Our stallion was so much happier he found a friend.

Sometimes I think they are a bit tooooo comfortable and happy!!!
