I had the opportunity to meet our newest member Privatetreaty and her friend today. :D Very knowledgeable horse lady and before you know it I had her out in the arena giving me a great lesson. 8-) I learned some new tricks today and I can't wait to practice them more.

After our impromtu lesson at La Fortuna and the ladies getting to meet Echo, we went to visit their horses at Hacienda La Perla. What a beautiful farm in Horse Country. :D Very well kept and all the horses looked spoiled and happy.

All sorts of little things from health tips, to learning to "join up". ;-) I think Privatetreaty will be a huge asset to the bb. ;-) She has loads of Dressage experience and even taught me a couple basics to apply to Pasos. I bet halfmoonfino will really enjoy chatting about Paso dressage w/her. :D

Nice place - looks so warm and GREEN!!

My son has a Veiled Chameleon(sp?). He's actually a pretty nice pet. Very mellow as far as lizzards go (he has a Leopard Gecko too, not so mellow). He has a really long tongue that uncoils and catches flies and crickets rather quickly - very cool. He has cute little hands (look like mittens) and holds things. He is green and yellow (but the yellow changes to brown if they are not relaxed or unhappy).

Cindy - I'll bet your son would like one.

Thanks for the pics, Lori. Very nice horses too!!

It WAS like a horse resort...the only thing was that the horses have to stay off the lawn.

:confused I like the lizard.
