I finally made it to Tennessee. After many months of trying to sell my house in California, I am HERE in Tennessee and my horses are on their
way. I have to build some pens QUICK as they will be here in a few
days. I am so excited to be here....so far, so good!

Will have the guest bedroom all set up and ready to go before too long, so
paso friends can come by and visit...

Well, you know the west will miss you. But I'm sure glad you have made it safely. Let us know when the horses get there.

In the mean time...get some sleep! ;-)

When I visited Greyhorsewoman in PA I didn't even know what bushhogging was.

Well that's my point....bushhogging sounded like some kind of hunt to me....I had no idea it was just mowing with a big blade on the back of a tractor....regional differences are fascinating and hilarious!!

What part of TN? I'm passing thru in a couple of weeks..but will be on the go...on way to KY....well for future reference.

You'll like it there, and bushogging can be relaxing and enjoyable depending upon how large an area you have to mow. In large areas, watch the patterns you can make mowing. Watch the diesel gas fumes if riding a long time though.

Welcome to NC's neighbor TN! ...and the Asheville show and Biltmore ride will be just a hop, skip and a jump. Now, unless you are in western TN, and then 2 hops, 2 skips, and a jump.

You will only be about 70 miles dow I-40 from me. Come up to
East Fork and we'll ride.

Baxter can be reached by a number of exits off I-40 exit 286 and exit 257 and one in between

I'm happy to hear you got there safely (even though I'm sorry you left California.)

How many of your horses are on their way to join you. Capuchero, of course -- and I don't see how you could have parted with those adorable palomino fillies.

All the horses are on their way and will be here on Wednesday. I have put up some temporary pens for them until the barn is built. I am so excited to have them here.
And yes, my exit is 280 off I-40. I am only five minutes from the Interstate and would love to have some visitors. I even have guest quarters all ready to go.

And can't wait to start doing some riding....

I am so glad you have made the move successfully. I will miss seeing you in California. You have certainly contributed to the promotion of the breed here, and will be missed.

Wendy - I am glad you made it and sounds like you have fun on the way there!
Are the horses coming this Wednesday or they came last Wed? Hope they make the move safely - and I am sure they will love their new home!
Look forward to seeing lots of pictures!!!

Lynn G - You going to be near Nashville? I'm about 40 miles south on I-65.
