My husband has two guines pigs for his 3rd grade class. We just recently got these, he thought they were two males, but they weren't! So, of course, she ended up being pregnant and now we have the cutest little babies :D

They are born looking like mini guinea pigs, so cute!

I am sure Dave's class is upset because I wouldn't let him take them to school this morning. They are so much fun to watch. He said he would give me until Wednesday then he is taking them back :cry:

Is showing cavvies like showing rabbits or cats? (I've only ever shown lambs at 4-H fair)

Yeah you show them at the ARBA shows...they are pointed by the rabbit clubs...

they are born with teeth, eyes open and ready to run

So tasty looking and bite-sized, too.

Only with BBQ sauce or perhaps some sweet & sour with fava beans on the side..oh, and a nice Chiante'............... :twisted:

oh they are so cute. If i couldnt have horses i would be a guinea pig horder. I just have 1 right now.

What, are you INSANE?! Don't you know that suckling guinea pig is best served with a light orange glaze, capers, and slivered almonds?
