Big Thank you to Paso Fino Del Fuego and our friend Cam

This weekend was the annual NEPFHA meeting and clinic held at Paso Fino Del Fuego in Middleboro MA. As usual Bobby Yunits and Micheal Bruce put on a great time full of fun, food, good company and excellent horses.

I took my Daughter Chrissy and the little girl (Ashley) who leases Mico and their horses. This was a first time experience for Ashley who learned to ride in a H/J barn. She loved it! Both Bobby and Michael were wonderful with the girls, helping them and their horses to improve. Bobby was particularly gracious in complimenting Chrissy in how much her riding has improved.

I was able meet our board friend Cam. She and her friend Brenda came back to my house and we had a nice trial ride on my nags. As usual I managed to avoid taking any pictures but Cam had a camera and graciously sent some to me despite a slow dial up connect. THANKS!!!

I'm glad you guys had fun! I've been thinking about the clinic all weekend, we had so much fun last year. Now you know 2 more paso aholics from Maine!

Cool pictures...nice memories. It was at Michael and Bobby's that CAM, Lisa and I met for the first time. They were great and we had a wonderful day. The arena is new since I was there.

Seriously, it was back in...um......Cam/Carol help me out here?.......late 1990's or so? Cam and I went to Nationals in 2000 I think.......

It was in early 2000. March-April time frame.

And then Lisa, CAM, and I shared rooms at Nationals that year...and the year after I believe.

I'm not sure who all we met at Bobby's. There were a number of people there. Bobby was so nice and spent a lot of time explaining what they were doing.

Ditto Terri on the great time, food, horses, and people. As usual Mike and Bobby were were gracious and hospitable.
I will disagree however with Terri on the statement about her 'nags'. Her horses are awesome and gave us a great ride. Thank you so much for inviting us.
I took more video than I did pictures and will get the video transferred to a CD as soon as I can figure out why my computer won't show the video. :-?

Lisa and CarolU...I believe it was spring of 2000 we met at the farm and later went to Nationals.
Erin..sorry we didn't get to meet. Sounds like you had a busy weekend.

Meanwhile back at the ranch I guess I missed a little excitement. Somehow Amigo managed to offend a skunk sometime Saturday evening. :roll:
Its not so bad riding him if I keep the wind at my back :lol:

Wow. That's the mare i helped Juan work with and also the one who broke Margaret's collarbone a month ago. Nice to see they're putting kids on her now too.

I don't know what happened a month ago, but several people rode her around the farm, she was very good, Chrissy loved her. I think she sold to a nice lady from NY.
