Has the proceedure for posting pictures changed or is it the same? Do they still need to be on a website that allows sharing or can you use one straight from a jpeg or other file?

I was able to ad my avatar directly from my computer. I think we have the option of posting photo's from another web site or directly from our computers.

How do you do that -- post pictures, step by step? And also...I tried to attach an avatar and the picture came out waaay to big. I had gone to "custom avatar" -- after going to "edit avatar" and followed instructions.
Next, I tried to post a picture and it didn't work. I went to "my files" and uploaded (attachment) and when I tried to preview my message ....no attachment anywhere.

Please make sure that your custom avatar file size is less than 1MB. Otherwise, it won't work.

HOW do you get a full size photo to post.....by full size I mean not exceeding 640 in width....
I see how to get the thumbnail here...but how to get a full photo? Like how they are in the sales forum for example..the ones that transfered over onto this site...

Are all photos restricted to maximum 320 width?

If you click on the thumbnail picture, you get a new screen with the picure on it (larger) then to make even larger or "full size" click on the photo again.

Posting from photobucket is not working for me.....it says "failed due to no temporary file being written"

WHAT is the SIZE limit please?

640 X 480 is too big (that is normal website post size)
320 X 240 is too big (that is normal BB size)

CarolU...how did you get that photo posted in Mitch's fuzzy warm" thread? I tried to PM you and apparently that didn't work....

Just realized that you cannot send pics from your own files in PMs. Can this be changed so that we can send pics through PMs without having to download somewhere else?
