Pics from the NC State Fair October 15th Paso Fino horse show:
One of PFHA's newest and youngest members ...
young 5 1/2 yr old Price, and his mom Stacey dressed for Paso Fino Leadline

Price's first horse show in Leadline on Beech Tree Majatisa. His trusty lesson horse Arianna was a bit overwhelmed by seeing the inside main arena and I switched mounts before his class to Maja. That was his first time riding Maja.... he did well!

l-r: Stacey with Price; Tony, Jeany and Bailey; Lynn and Ladybug (Novia Dulce). Missing from pics are Grayson, Kerry and Allison who were around, but MIA at this photo op.
It was a gorgeous fall day for the fair. 60 horses, 10 down from last year, but still horses in most classes. For some, this was their first Paso Fino show. It is a great show to get that initial experience at. We had horses from out of state also. Didn't see Abby; I was busy and getting ready for the next class, so not at ringside that much. Lori (Echo) and Greg West were there from the Blue Ridge mountains with their beautiful mare Lucy.
Maybe Jeany and Kerry can post some more pics. I didn't take any myself at the show... but there were cameras clicking.
The Piedmont Youth did an excellent job with the Opening Ceremonies Flag presentation Monday evening. I hear there are pics on the Raleigh newspaper News and Observer website (goes all over the state). I'll post a link when I get it.
Another fun thing that happened was the fair had these neat green & yellow tyed-dyed NC State Fair -- "twisted fun" fair slogan shirts they gave to each youth showing. Hey I would of bought one...they were a great souvenier for the youth!
