They didn't get bigger for me, either!

Me either, what did I do wrong. I order to get them small enough to post, I had to put them in thumbnail size, is that the problem?

You don't have to make them avatar size to post them in a thread.

So far, I've used photobucket successfully: upload to that site per usual, then click on the picture and it'll take you to that pic's page. At the top, it says "resize" and it gives you several options - the one for emailing is the right size (200-500 pixels by 200-500 pixels or so).

Or now you can just get them off your files or desktop with APF!

Shouldn't have to be thumbnail size originally. Check the list that comes up when you click on the attachment (paper clip) button. It will tell you the size and pixel width you can post. What the program will do is put a thumbnail sized graphic, which you can click. It will then open up a separate window to see the actual pic you attached.

You can either upload from a separate web site OR upload from your PC by using the attachment (paper clip) button. OR you can embed the pic in your text box, but if you do, it must be from an URL address or web site.

Candice, is that the preferred way? I've seen pictures posted so that they fill up the screen, posted so you have to click on a url, and posted like pasorider was trying to do, and like you just explained.

Which would moderators prefer?

I dunno, too much process for me so I don't do pics much. Besides that would mean bathing a horse and posing him...like I said too much process.:)

LOL! If you saw the crap I carry around 24/7 you'd understand. I've got printed pedigrees floating around my office, my brief case has various CDs and floppies full of horse stuff, my pc is loaded with various files and reference material, I have a stack of books and mags piled up--let's see on my kitchen table, on my night table by the bed, in my magazine rack, on the floor--I've got loads of printouts from various sources stacked in my book case, in my filing cabinet, in my car. I've got ropes, boots, jackets, jeans, hanging around all over the place plus various hardware (what gal can live without extra snaps I ask?). I've got dozens of projects in the works not to mention all the stuff I read every night.

I promised someone pics and pedigrees back and May and what is today's date... I'm almost finished.

Right now I'm trying to round it all up and get some resemblance of organization in the mess. THEN I'll have time to do something else besides rambling through stacks of paper yelling "Where's my notes of XXXX I just had it a minute ago #@$#@!"
