Ellis and I had a one night stand to do a private surprise birthday party south of Ocala tonight.

On our way home on I-75 around 10pm, it was bumper to bumper traffic but at the same time there some wide stretches between some cars.

As we drove along we could see a couple vehicles on the side of the road, one appeared larger than the other. As we got about 6 car lengths from them the larger of the two just PULLED :mad2:out in front of us causing Ellis to lock down on our brakes to keep from rear ending the vehicle. :mad2:And let me tell you we came close enough you may have gotten a sheet of notebook paper between the bumpers without touching.

Thank God!!! :rolleyes:All turned out well but I was yelling at Ellis not to blow his horn since we had already come too close to hitting the vehicle. Normally I do not say I could care less about a human life but darn it!! that vehicle was pulling a loaded trailer full of HORSES!!!!! :grayhorse: Had an accident occured there would have been some dead or severely injured horses. God put these wonderful creatures on this earth to make us happy and what do some idiots do. Take them from place to place whther they feel like it or not. They do not have a voice to say how they feel and then the same IDIOT pulls out in front of oncoming 3 lanes of traffic and risks their lives.:mad2:

I am fuming:mad2: and praying at the same time they made it to their destination safely. And no matter what anyone says to me nothing can make me accept that well maybe they thought they could make it. BULL!! Common sense says WAIT for not matter how long it takes to make SURE the traffice clears a bit so you can get back on the interstate SAFELY!!!:mad2: If the driver can't see any better than that at night then DO NOT drive at night OR in HEAVY traffic. Stick to daylight hours so they can see better.

ok i have complained enough. Thanks for listening.

Ah, Leila...how wonderful a life it would be if everyone would think twice before they would say or do anything....and how wonderful it would be if every animal owner were as conciencious about the care and safety of their animals as you or I are....
But then it's not a perfect world...is it? :(
What really gripes me is when animals are hurt performing sports or activities....they don't ask to be there and to be doing those things....yet, they do it anyway...and sometimes they don't survive it. Sad....sad...sad.....
Just glad you all are safe....

Sounds like the way my EX cousin in law drives a trailer. He thinks that folks will just evaporate when they see the dually truck and big LQ trailer. Drives 90 down the interstate and rides other peoples buts until they move out of the way. So far, his horse (I won't say him, cause I don't care about him) has been lucky, poor thing.
