View Full Version : What a TERRIBLE two weeks but...
i'm finally starting to get better.Three days in the hospital last week.I ended up with my siatic nerve getting bad on me and ulserative colitis at the same time and on top of that my potassium went extremely low as well as being very dehydrated.Friday was all about the colitis and potassium wich causes your entire body to be in pain.I spent many hours in the hospital having tests and with two IV's,one in one hand and the other in the other arm.I had to have tons of fluids, two antibiotics, potassium plus three potassium pills as well then pick up four medications on the way home.I was one miserable puppy BUT i'm SOOO glad it was then and not now or durring La Mundial!!!!!I'm not well yet BUT I do feel 100% better!!If I had to get sick I couldn't have asked for better timming.WHEW!!Your friend,Moniece

Wow! Sounds like you had a miserable time of it! My UC has never landed me in the hospital, though I am unresponsive to conventional treatment. I haven't had a proper (that wasn't induced by steroids) remission in about 5 years. I'm glad you're feeling beter, I know how miserable it can be.

Wow Moniece - I hope you're feeling better now. I know how the sciatica can be, hurts like a son of a pup. So take care and hopefully I will see you at Mundial on Saturday!
