Life is getting me down a little so just thought I would vent a little. You people are always so gracious about this. Got a phone call from my youngest daughter last night. She had gastric bypass done about five years ago and has had nothing but health problems since. Last night when she called, it was to tell me that they are now having financial problems on top of everything else. They are going to lose their house-move in with her in-laws for now. And also that she thought she had another bowel blockage starting (her seventh one). She just had gall bladder surgery a month ago. She is also diabetic and four months ago was also diagnoised with Chron's (spl) disease. Got phone call at work today she was admitted to hospital at 3:00 a.m. this morning under emergency conditions. They are keeping her on pain medication and tubes down her nose. She will know more tomorrow. I feel helpless and can't even help her financially right now-kind of strapped my self right now. Then my oldest daughter has to go for shoulder surgery on the 14th. This stems from that hit and run accident she had over a year ago. Where she was struck by a pickup truck and thrown 20ft. She ended up with a destroyed right knee a broken wrist and this shoulder injury. She had to wait for this surgery until her knee was operated on and healed enough so she wouldn't be dependant on that arm to help her get up and down. Then not being allowed to have my pup here with me is getting to me. It's just all getting me down. But we will survive and go on with Life. Thanks for letting me vent-much appreciated.

Kathy - sorry for all the problems. Sometimes we just seem to go through phases like this, but eventually things turn around. I pray that both your daughters will be feeling better soon. I know it's hard as a mom to watch them go through this and you feel helpless, but just being there for them to talk to and have lots of moral support is a wonderful thing. So hang in there with them and just keep being their mom - that's the most important thing.

It does seem like it goes in phases. Maybe to make you appreciate the times it is good even more...who knows?
My ex had gastric bypass years ago and almost starved to death from a twisted bowel. He had to have it undone. I hope your daughter can get the right help to figure out what is going on.
hugs.

So sorry that this has all happend at once. A good friend of mine has had Chrons for a long time, she is in her mid thirties and has coped well, although she has had the gall bladder out and some bowel ops. If it helps, I will try and contact her for someone for your duaghter to talk to if she would like. PM me if that would help.
I hope things start to look up soon. Go and give your pup a hug right now and let it lick things better.
