Chico gets alitte jelous when I pay more attention to storm.. Just after the pic, he pushed his way between storm and me..lol he loves me!

Phantom had been heart broken. I board and some other people had a nice buckskin mare named Blue. Well they left about a week ago and phantom is so sad.. He calls into the distance and u can just see it is his eyes he misses his girl.. Kysa spent alot of time talkin to him and giving hugs. When we were about to leave phantom got all upset, rushed infront of the gait when kysa was leaving, he winnied very loudly and hid his head in her chest. It was so sad she almost started crying.. So we spent 10more mins w/him until he was ok..

Oh I jsut love my boys... :D

Nice pics, I love the one of your sister and Phantom, very poignant, especially with the story....and they DO get attached and miss other horses, and remember them....and will recognize them YEARS later. Have seen it MANY times. Well, keep him busy with some lovin'!

I plan on giving phantom extra cookies when I go out this weekend. And a good rub down.. Poor boy...

They dont seem to use the shelter at all this winter. They are extra furry... I think they like to stay closer to the gaits and see other horses that are in turn out.. The shelter is on the way other side of the pasture.. But I figure if they get cold enough they will use it..

The neutrals in colour are very subtle, I wonder how it looks printed out.

I don't think it would improve by being black and white. You already have the contrast with his color and the snow. The blond hair also provided a contrast. JMO.
