Where are they? I haven't heard anything about them and wonder how they are doing.

I think she is busy with her business. I miss her too. Did I see her in the recent TV show on RFD??

I talked to Debbie not too long ago. She and hubby are very busy getting their business going. She is doing well, as is Cheyenne and Listo.

When she has time, she goes riding.

She just hasn't time for the BB right now. Maybe this winter.

Whew! That is good to know.
It was like she dropped off the face of the Earth and I wondered about her and her family. I'm glad things are okay, hectic, but okay.

And what has happened to Tami Pinell??

I have not communicated with Tami in a while (god knows I need to!)

Last I talked to her, she had her plate even more full than usual and was dealing with all sorts of stuff. Still going like the energizer bunny!

I doubt that she has time to check in here.

What about Baileyholc? I have not seen her around here since before the switch. I lost my numbers when my cell phone was run over so I can't call her.

How about Cowboy Ed? Was wondering the other day if he still raised Eng. Bulldogs.

Wow! This is just weird. I finally hired someone 2 days a week (9-5), so I could get some office work done. I'm so far behind (I think I'm finally done with June accounting stuff!). Anyway, I thought, "I wonder what's happening on the bb" so I came to have a peek.

Thanks for thinking of me! We're doing great, although we haven't went riding since the last weekend in September (our annual Old Baldy / Spearfish Canyon fall-color ride). I got to ride with some of the Minnesota folks in August. It was so nice to see Sharon and Jack Gallagher and their daughter. I believe there were about 20 or so Pasos that traveled 10+ hours just to ride here in the Black Hills. It was wonderful!

Last spring we started the renovation on the 1904 hotel building that we purchased last fall. We gutted out most of the main floor (which was being used for some apartments) and put in a coffee shop. My dream has always been to bake whenever I want. Well, that's what I'm doing and people actually buy the stuff! Imagine that! I will try to post some pics of the renovation.

I also worked on government paperwork for about 3 months to get our building and some others on the National Historic Register, as so many are now lost due to neglect and the wrecking ball. I also applied for a grant from the state historic fund (which I received!) and have applied for an 8-year tax moratorium (haven't heard anything yet). My next step is the federal tax credit application.

So, that's my life for the last 6 months or so. We have Jam Session at the coffee shop tonight 7-9 pm so it's a long day for me on Tuesday. Lots of fun though. I would much rather do that than sit in my office every day.

Thanks for thinking of us! Listo is still my black beauty and is such an awesome horse! We will be riding in the Christmas parade of lights again this year.

I will try to visit more often now that I'll be at my desk for a few hours a week.
