Yes! Protagonista is an excellent filly and she absolutely deserved to Win! Congratulations to Protagonista!

Felix: I have to set the record straight.

I did get to ride Protagonista on Wednesday night. The power of her Trocha was beyond thrilling! (And, Felix, thanks for the compliment on my riding of her. As you know, I was nervous and for me, it's a big deal to ride in front of people which I hope to overcome someday so, thank you again). HOWEVER, I was not the one to buy her. I WISH she was mine, but......

I think I heard it announced during her presentation in the Grand Championship Class that Cross Creek Farm bought her. IF that is true, they have added an amazing horse to their stable! And, congrats to them as well.

Meeting Juan Pablo (and Sandra) of Providencia Farm from Colombia was certainly a highlight of my whole Mundial experience. Getting the opportunity to ride their Grand World Champion Trocha y Galope filly was incredible! To be honest, it is really a toss up as to which experience was better, RIDING a Grand Champion Trocha y Galope Filly with an asking price of 1 million dollars, or having MY OWN Trocha Pura mare earn Second World Champion! LOL.

Anyway...looking forward to seeing the videos.

Protagonista really was fun. And, if I understood the spanish correctly, she has only been doing the galope gait for about 3 months or so!
