This horse is something else! And the crew, was obviously so in love with him too! Very well presented and an amazing animal that I was fortunate to get very close to. (Working on pics and video as we speak).

The championship was a great class, Don Pepe would do something amazing, then Arafat would, and it kept on. They were definately two serious heavy weights viaing for the world title, and in the end, Arafat was triumphant!

All I can say is WOW...the precense on that horse is something to behold. Jaw dropping for sure. And he was flawless in the championship. :grayhorse:

He's not just World Champion, but GRAND World Champion!!! Congratulations to Arafat and to his owners, trainer and rider! Thank you so much for bringing him to the USA to compete in the Mudial. It was a rare treat to get to see such an excellent Trote y Galope Stallion in person. Seeing him and Don Pepe together in the ring was a highlight. They are both truly Champions! Congratulations!

Arafat was just subperb to watch. Really a powerhouse. And his Galope! it was so collected it could be a piaffe with a little work :biggrin: I was very glad I got to see him.

For those of you who were at mundial, you probably saw me run into the arena to
put the colombian flag on arafat and then replace it after it fell while arafats blue ribbon
was placed on him. = DDD.

Out in the warm up ring while the took him blood test i was with arafat and henry
congratulating him for winning whennn...

Michelle, you are so lucky to have gotten to ride Arafat! Thank you for posting the pic's.

It just blows my mind that they let people ride these World Champion caliber horses like it's just an ordinary horse and an ordinary day at the Farm. I can't think of many people here (in US) that would do that! What a great way to promote the breed, training and minds of these Diagonal horses as well as the Farms and the people involved. The Colombian Farms are truly sharing a wonderful gift!

I saw you at Mundial give Arafat the flag. I loved that horse, and all the trocha and trote galope horses! I will probably never get to own one, but hope to teach my little mare a cute little collected canter! They look like so much fun to ride. I really enjoyed watching them the most (except for of course the fino's).
